We explored Cochrane and walked up and down hills for 2 hours at the Glenbow Ranch. We saw homes of pocket gophers and a train go through with 120 cars and 3 engines.

Today we took a trip to the mountains and Kananaskis Country. We met and enjoyed lunch with Lyn and Clark's friends Ross (who is blind) and Delina. Then another 3-hour hike in the forest beside the lake with a view of the majestic Rockies across the lake. Evening found Stew and Clark playing a grudge Canasta rematch. Sunday AM we attended the Bow Valley Baptist Church. Don McNaughton showed slides of his missionary experience in the wilderness of BC AB with the Shantymen; he visited people living in isolation to present the gospel and offer support. Sunday night we were at the Le Soleil Executive Hotel downtown Vancouver.

Monday AM we board the Norweigan Jewel for 5 days of open seas and 6 days of island hopping the Hawaiian islands.

We walked around the Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park behind Trish. The skyline of Calgary is barely visible on the horizon.

William Watson Lodge overlooks the Lower Kananakis Lake/Reservoir. We hiked with Lyn and Clark and their friend Ross.

Stew is hard to recognize with the sun in his back.

Ross Watson managed a section of the Kananaskis Park for 33 years. Clark walked ahead of Ross and Lyn followed then Trish and I. Ross knew where to turn and head back to the William Watson Lodge. We held a tight formation to avoid being grisly bear bait.
